This versatile and lovely petticoat is rigged so it can be worn as either a floor length petticoat to go with your Victorian era outfits or it easily transforms into a stylish chic “tailed” short skirt to pair with your favorite modern Western outfit simply by pulling two ribbons. You can also hike up just one side of the skirt to give it even another whole new look. Here at Ravenna we like our clothing looking purposefully dirty and worn because it adds intriguing dimension and textural elements to Western films and is indicative of real life in the West. Though our Cassidy Petticoat is perfectly clean when sent to you (we promise), it is purposefully hand dyed and aged to make it have a permanent “dingy” appearance for added depth. We utilize the same techniques we use on the set of films for the “distressing” process which does not compromise the integrity or quality of the garment. This petticoat is made of ivory 100% cotton Muslin and has beautiful ruffles and a Cluny lace trimmed edge. Made with two button hole closures in the back to make the waist band size slightly adjustable.
Please Note: Our clothing is entirely made to order so please allow up to 3 weeks production time for this product prior to shipment.
All of our proprietary garment designs are film quality as befits designer Jenna Miller’s origins as a movie costumer, and she carries the same expertise and care into the full array of her designs. We utilize specialized aging and dyeing techniques on our garments to give then depth, grit and special textures which sets them apart from mass produced factory made clothing. Each piece is carefully and skillfully hand crafted of the finest materials in our private studio right in the heart of Tombstone, Arizona.
